Screen Styling

Add backgrounds, padding, rounded corners, and shadows to make your recordings look polished.

Background

Add a background behind your screen recording. Four options:

  • None: No background (transparent)
  • Solid color: A single color fill
  • Gradient: A linear gradient with start/end colors and adjustable angle
  • Image: A custom image with optional Gaussian blur

Padding and corners

  • Padding: Add space around your screen capture (0–100% of screen width). This is what creates the "floating window" look with the background visible around it.
  • Corner radius: Round the corners of the screen frame (0–360px).

Shadow

Add a drop shadow behind the screen frame. Adjustable blur radius (0–100px) and opacity. A subtle shadow makes the recording feel like a floating window rather than a flat rectangle.

Cursor

Toggle cursor visibility on or off. When visible, you can adjust:

  • Cursor scale: Make the cursor larger or smaller (default 2×)
  • Cursor packs: Replace the system cursor with a custom design. Packs are available in the cursor settings.

Camera styling

The camera PiP has its own set of style controls, separate from the screen:

  • Shape: Landscape, circle, square, or portrait (see Camera)
  • Size: 10–40% of the output width
  • Corner radius: Adjustable per shape
  • Shadow: Independent blur and opacity
  • Fill: None, solid color, or gradient behind the camera frame
