Record your voice as a separate track with device selection and real-time level monitoring.
How it works
Toggle the microphone on in the recording controls. ShipClip records your mic input as its own audio track, separate from system audio.
You can select which microphone to use from the dropdown. ShipClip lists all available input devices (built-in mic, USB mics, audio interfaces, etc.).
Level monitoring
A real-time level meter shows your mic input during recording so you can see if your audio is coming through and catch clipping before it ruins a take.
Tips
- If you're playing audio through speakers while recording your mic, enable echo cancellation to prevent speaker bleed.
- Mic audio is recorded at 48 kHz. You can adjust per-track volume during editing.
- Requires the Microphone permission.
